Job Description

Reports to Office Manager and coordinates the day-to-day activities of the office to ensure productivity and efficiencies. Handles personnel and operational matters of a routine nature, and coordinates the resolution of these with the guidance of supervisor. Responsible for completing projects in a timely and efficient manner at supervisor’s request. Ensures the office is opened and closed in accordance with office policies.  Ensures services are being billed and collected in a timely manner.



Qualifications

Education:

Required: High School Diploma or GED

Preferred: Associate or Bachelors degree preferred


Experience:

Prior 1 year experience in physician office setting preferred

Prior experience in medical office billing/collections required

Ability to demonstrate effective organizational and time-management skills 

Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills

Demonstrates knowledge of basic computer skills

Ability to accurately interpret EOB for practice and patients
