Job Description

Directly supervises medical assistants and ensures all office procedures and policies are properly followed.  Provides leadership, education, and oversight of the quality of support medical assistants provide to providers.  Provides guidance in providing patient satisfaction and administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
Provides clinical support to medical providers to provide optimal care, and make patient visits efficient, including preparing for patient visits, assisting providers during visit, performing NST’s, and assisting with procedures and respond to patient needs.




Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)




NM RN license





Prior experience in physician office setting
Experience with assisting with in-office procedures and injections preferred
Ability to demonstrate effective organizational and time-management skills
Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to problem-solve and multi-task in the work environment
Demonstrate knowledge of basic procedures for taking vitals, and obtaining medical information
Have a strong understanding of the surgery schedule process
