Job Description

Provides administrative support to the medical practice related to patient contact via phone or in person, for the purpose of arranging, coordinating and processing patient visits to the clinic office. Coordinates responsibilities according to office policies.

Required: High School Diploma or GED
Preferred: Associate or Bachelors degree preferred
 
Experience:
Preferred: Prior 2 years experience in physician office setting
Preferred: Prior experience in a medical office billing and collections
Required: Demonstrates effective organizational and time-management skills
Required: Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
Required: Ability to handle patient issues, concerns in a timely manner, problem-solve and multi-task
Required: Ability to accurately interpret EOB for practice and patients

 demonstrates knowledge of medical terminology
