Job Description

Summary: The Director of Provider Relations will align market initiatives to achieve targeted organic growth;
improve access to and delivery of care; establish and maintain relationships; promote expansion by actively seeking
stakeholders and community partners to improve processes, access and outcomes. This growth will be accomplished
by coordinating and supporting hospital CEOs, service line leaders, and outreach team members (DPO/DCO) in their
efforts to develop collaborative relationships and increase satisfaction among providers who practice in their
Essential Duties:
? Supports market/hospital leaders and outreach team members to effectively align and achieve goals by establishing
and maintaining provider relationships; planning and coordinating strategic service line and outreach efforts;
considering and interpreting appropriate data; and providing consistent communication of goals/outcomes.
? In coordination with Market/Hospital leadership, develops quarterly strategic targeting objectives in alignment
with market strategies and initiatives.
? Supports market/facility leadership in the strategic planning process to provide insight on provider preferences and
service line growth opportunities through available appropriate data sources.
? Develop a collaborative relationship with the Regional Director of Provider Relations to maintain structure and
integrity of the program, DPO/DCO efforts, growth strategies, service line development, sharing of established
best practices, appropriate review and use of available data, and execution on growth initiatives.
? Ensures timely documentation for provider calls (meetings) and Issue Resolution Management into the PRM
? Supports monthly and quarterly face-to-face growth meetings with PPS leadership, ACO team members, and
surgical service line leaders to ensure a thorough understanding of our current state of providers’ engagement,
evaluation of and suggested improvement to facilities, and continued opportunities to enhance quality focus,
improve access to delivery of care, and identify/eliminate obstacles of available services in our community.
? Collaborate weekly (or as needed) with Market/Hospital CEOs to discuss trends, business growth opportunities,
obstacles to service line retention, and results from the previous week’s Provider Relations outreach activities.
? In alignment with Market/Hospital CEOs, continuously review and modify growth and expansion strategies
