1351-001 Director Administrative Nurse Management (ANM) FT
The Administrative Nurse Director leads and directs the workflow between nursing departments to ensure quality patient care and effective patient flow. Directs nursing staff and resources to ensure consistent, high quality, cost effective care. Promotes and ensures effective interdepartmental communication. Directs and supervises the Administrative Nurse Manager team, including float pool, patient sitters, staffing coordination and prn staff. The Administrative Nurse Director is responsible for efficient flow of patients throughout the MountainView Regional Medical Center continuum of patient care. Responsible for the outcomes of quality and efficiency metrics surrounding patient flow.
Required: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing. Minimum required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Required: 3-5 years of nursing experience
Required: Able to follow directions and perform work according to department standards when no directions are given.
Required: Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress.
Preferred: 3 to 5 years Director level leadership experience
Preferred: Previous experience as a Nurse Manager, Nurse Leader, Nurse Director or House Supervisor in an acute care setting.
Required: Current licensure in professional nursing from the New Mexico State Board of Nursing or compact RN license
Required: Current CPI Training - Due by close of business on the last day of month after one (1) full month of work.
Required: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) - Due by COB on the last day of the month after one (1) full month of work
Required: Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)-Due by COB the last day of the month after three (3) full month of work
Preferred: Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
