Job Description

Provides overall management and strategic leadership for Patient Access services to include Registration, Pre-Registration, Emergency Departments, Financial Counseling, Central Scheduling, Insurance Verification, and Switchboard. Responsible for the registration and QA process for staff that do not report directly throughout the Enterprise. The position assures the Mission, Vision, and Values of MountainView Medical Center are represented in all decisions for the delivery of services. The position participates as a member of the management team.

Education:

Required: High School Diploma or GED
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or Healthcare administration 

Experience:

Required: Five (5) years of healthcare Revenue Cycle management experience including a minimum of three (3) years in a multi facility system with substantial clinic exposure. 
Required: Two (2) years of supervisory / management experience

Licenses/Certificates:

Preferred: National recognized certification in area of expertise.
Preferred: National Association of Health Access Management (NAHAM) Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM) certification
