Job Description

Education

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred: Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician training program

Preferred: Completion of an accredited Sterile Products Training program

Experience

Required: Prior experience in oncology.

Preferred: One year hospital pharmacy experience

Licenses/Certificates

Required: Certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or

Institute for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ICPT)

Required: Completion of a chemotherapy training program, through the National Pharmacy Technician Association, or equivalent.
