Job Description

 

Responsible for providing care, which includes assessment, treatment, control diagnostic evaluation of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.  Consults with physicians.  Provides consultation, instruction and/or technical direction of medical, nursing and other staff members.


Qualifications

 

Education:
  • Must possess a current state Respiratory Therapist License.
Experience:
  • Preferred: Two years of experience in a hospital or medically related environment. 
Required license/Certification:
  • Required: BLS
  • CRT or RRT
  • PALS - if not currently certified at the time of hire, must complete first course offered.
  • NRP - if not currently certified at the time of hire, must complete first course offered.
  • ACLS- if not currently certified at the time of hire, must complete first course offered.
